I made this video in response to an email I get frequently that asks why Chromebooks are better for education than iPads. I feel strongly that Chromebooks (or laptop form factor) computers in general are a better choice right now because of the potential for students to create, as opposed to consume, content. Creating content helps me learn every single day, and I know it helps students learn too. I hope this video helps; don't label me an iPad hater. I love mine AND my iPhone AND my Mac, but when I get ready to create content, I head to a laptop form factor device. Watch the video and I'll show you why.

Thanks for making training on these available at the ESC 6 Tech conf. Was the first I had ever heard of them & so excited because they are so much better for in class project creations & not just getting info or taking photos. We got the first Chrome Cart in this week. I'm setting it up on Spring Break for my Child Care teacher. She is so excited & so are the kids. Can't wait to show everyone how great these are. CTE & CHS leading the way again here in CISD.
I totally agree with you. Our iPad carts here at the school are really not very useful for high school classes, sadly.
